Before starting I would love to say 'hi' to all the readers and members of TSS. And I'm sorry in advance if I did any mistakes while writing this application and sorry for my clumsy formatting.

My name is Alexander, I live in cold-cold Russia where bears walk in the street and every human being drinks vodka non-stop. At the moment I study at institute and work in the evening. I'm good person overall, friendly, amiable, helping when people are desperate.

I'm playing arcane spec for PvE and I guess I'll stick to that as I don't have too much crit gear for fire and I'm not really into fire. Of course if I get some nice gear and will reach the point where fire will do greater dps I'll spec into that.

Blacklisted - disbanded;
Whitelisted - went inactive;
Realmwalkers - is a PvP guild which is very inactive at the moment. And yes, I'm applying to TSS while still being in Realmwalkers, but that's because the guild is nearly empty and dead so it's just a tag under my name so to say.

    * Why do you want to join this guild?

I know that TSS is a good guild with decent and mature players. I would love to be a part of this solid community.

    * What are your usual playing hours?

As I work in the evening I usually can come online at like 21-22 hours server time. But there are some days where I can do that earlier if needed(i.e. raiding, arenas). They are Monday, Wednesday, Friday and weekends.

    * What do you consider to be your mainspec? What does your normal dps/heal
 rotation or playstyle look like? Links to WWS parses are most welcome

In PvE part, the main spec for me is arcane. As I stated above I chose that not because I'm very fond of arcane rotation and it's really fun, but because it gives me the top dps I can get with my gear. Though I must say I got used to that spec and I like it more than Fire. Not speaking about frost here because it's not really viable in PvE.

About the WWS I'm not sure how this stuff works but I got some screenshots from ICC raids. Will post them if required.

    * List your prior endgame raiding experience

The whole list is seen on my armory page, but concering the latest raids it's the following:
ICC 25 - 11/12(did some hard-modes as well, not sure which ones, but HMs are not much harder than normal modes anyway).

    * What are your opinions on 10man vs 25man raiding?

The 10-men is more fun, but 25-men gives the gear. Am I being cap'n obvious too much?

Ive done ICC, when it was harder without theese insane damage increase buffs.

What are your opinions on 10man vs 25man raiding?
I like to do 10mans just because they are fast and simple, I feel 25 is abit out of my league even tho Ive done them.

I was not, last I checked (which was a long time ago now that I think about it, Naxx even :S) it was a slight drop but far more mana efficient. Indeed EJ does seem to confirm that rotation is better, I'll be trying it out for sure.

And there I was defending Arcane when people called it a 2 button infantile rotation


Indeed that's been a weakness of mine. Rawr confirms I'll get an extra 7.24 dps from re-gemming that. Neck too (1.08) and Second Ring (1.08). They're all fixed now


It has been a thought, I'm sure on specific fights it'll help greatly although I'm not finding many raw numbers on it (it's a very subjective thing really) it's certainly something I'll be looking into. I've changed my Off-spec to this build (57/3/11) which I'll try out when I can.

Now to the topic, I can only underline what Schelm and Blood said. A very good player and friend of mine with whom you can always have a good laugh with. (Will never forget you charging into Kologarn and falling down ) Also very generous since he was the one who offered us all the time his own Vent for the guild without asking to get something back in return.

Now on to questions and comments.

Are you aware that as of a couple of patches ago, AB, AB, AB, AB, AM (regardless of proc or not) will yield more dps than finishing with ABarr? (EJ will supply you with the information about this after a bit of digging)

You are gemming too "kindly" with every gem of the right color in their slots. Have you looked into how much more dps output you can do with gemming wrong on purpose? Example, a pure +23SP gem in your bracers, removing your gem-bonus of +4 spirit.

Have you looked into how much mana-back and less raid-wide damage you get from moving 2 talent points into Arcane Absorbtion?

Nice to see you applying!
I actually want to put down here a very strong "VOUCH" for him.
He knows how to play his Warlock and actually outdps'ed most of our ranged in Sidereals with better gear (except Rajana ofc (if I would say something else I would get a slap!))
Besides his dedication and skill I would like to mention that he is a very nice person and is always here if needed!
